Actividades de enfermería y tiempo promedio de atención que reciben los niños menores de 1 año durante su control de crecimiento y desarrollo - Centro de Salud Lince - 2010

Abstract

La presente investigación “Actividades de Enfermería y Tiempo promedio de atención que reciben los niños menores de 1 año durante su control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo. Centro de Salud Lince. 2010” es un estudio de tipo cuantitativo, de nivel aplicativo, de corte transversal, que utiliza el método descriptivo (estudio de tiempos).

Se realizó con el objetivo de determinar las actividades que realiza la enfermera y el tiempo promedio de atención que reciben los niños menores de 1 año durante su control de crecimiento y desarrollo. Se utilizó la técnica de observación, y como instrumentos una lista de chequeo y una hoja de registros, que fueron validados por jueces expertos. Los resultados se presentaron en gráficos para facilitar la comprensión de los hallazgos según los grupos de edad observados.

Luego del análisis y discusión se llegaron a las siguientes conclusiones: Las actividades que realiza la enfermera en la evaluación del crecimiento y desarrollo son diversas, según sus necesidades y la edad del niño ; en la “Evaluación del Crecimiento” fueron principalmente: evaluación antropométrica, examen físico, examen neurológico, evaluación de la visión y de la audición; y en la “Evaluación del Desarrollo”, la evaluación del desarrollo psicomotor con la EEDP y/o TA y la demostración de procedimientos. Además de la Entrevista Inicial, Consejería, Registro de datos y la interconsulta o referencia del niño.

Respecto al Tiempo Promedio de Atención utilizado por la enfermera en la Evaluación del Crecimiento y Desarrollo de los niños menores de 1 año, este fue de 20´41´´. Considerando el tiempo promedio en cada una de sus etapas: Entrevista Inicial el 10.05 % de la atención (2´05´´); a la Evaluación del Crecimiento, para la Antropometría el 13.73% (2´50´´) y el 17.74% (3´40´´) para el examen físico; mientras que la Evaluación del Desarrollo demanda el 17.79% ( 3´41´´) de la atención. La consejería obtuvo una mayor proporción con el 21.02% (4´21´´); así también, el registro de datos ocupa el 13.34%( 2´46´´) respecto al total. La interconsulta o Referencia corresponde al 6.33% de la atención, con un tiempo promedio de (1´19´´). Las actividades que realiza la enfermera en función del tiempo varían de acuerdo a la edad del niño y sus necesidades de atención.

Then the analysis and discussion was arrived at the following conclusions: The activities carried out the nurse in the evaluation of growth and development are various agree to the needs and to the age of the child; in the evaluation of Growth were mainly: evaluation anthropometric, physical examination, neurological examination, evaluation of the vision, and of the hearing; and in the assessment of the Development, the assessment of psychomotor development with the E.E.D.P. o T.A. and demonstration of procedures. In addition to the Initial Interview, counseling, registration of data and consultation or reference of the child.

The average Time of Attention used by the nurse in the evaluation of Growth and Development, in children under one year this was 20'41´´. Whereas the average time in each of its stages: Initial interview, the 10.05 % of the attention (2'05´´); to the Evaluation of growth, for the Anthropometry the 13.73% (2'50´´) And the 17.74% (3'40´´) for physical examination; while the assessment of the Development demand the 17.79% ( 3'41´´) of care. The counseling obtained a higher proportion with the 21.02% (4'21´´);as well, the registration of data occupies the 13.34% ( 2'46´´) connection to the total.
