Abstract

La presente investigación se analiza cual es la percepción de los internos de enfermería acerca de la labor del profesional de enfermería en el campo hospitalario como comunitario en las cuatro áreas: asistencial, docencia, administración e investigación. Siendo las siguientes conclusiones a las que se llegaron: En el campo hospitalario: 1. Enfermería esta cumpliendo la función de brindar cuidado integral e individualizado al paciente según la percepción de los internos, sin embargo todavía existe un sector de enfermeros en la cual no se esta desarrollando. 2. El rol de docencia hacia el personal de salud es un rol con el que están de acuerdo la mayoría de los internos, claro está que sería factible disminuir el porcentaje de desacuerdo e indecisión acerca de este ítem para que se pueda decir que se esta llegando a realizar la docencia en el ámbito hospitalario eficientemente. 3. El proceso administrativo desempeñado por el enfermero se está cumpliendo según la percepción del interno de enfermería, claro está que falta aunque un mayor esfuerzo para cumplir a cabalidad este rol. 4. En cuanto a investigación en el campo hospitalario, enfermería está desarrollando investigación para mejorar todas las áreas en las que se ve comprometida, quedando en claro se tiene que seguir impulsando as investigaciones con respecto al cuidado del paciente debido a que hay un significativo grupo de internos que perciben un déficit en este tema.

--- The present investigation analyzes which is the perception of the nursery interns about the professional work of nurses in the hospital field as community in the four areas: assistance, teaching, administration and investigation. The conclusions were: In the hospital field: 1. Nursery is taking the function of offering integral and individualized care to the patient, according to the perception of the interns, however there is still a sector of nurses that do not develop this function totally. 2. Teaching role of nursery is fulfilled with the health staff in the hospital area, in this item the interns agree 64.4%, however it would be feasible to diminish the disagreement percentage and indecision about this item so we can say that this role is reaching efficiently in the hospital environment. 3. The administrative process that is performed by the nurse is carrying out according to the perception of the interns; however there is a lack of a bigger effort to complete this role. 4. Talking about investigation in the hospital field, nursery is developing investigation to improve all the areas in which it is committed, like teaching, attendance and administration, being undoubtedly, this field one has to continue impelling for the improvement of the own nursery as a profession because there is a significative group of interns that perceive the investigation as a deficit area.
